A Brooklyn, NY man was the victim of an attempted carjacking on Sunday afternoon, according to police.
The man was sitting in his running car in the driveway of a home on Cumberland Road at around 4:45 p.m when he was approached by a man who pointed a dark colored handgun at him through the closed car window, police said. The man, who was described as Latino, approximately 5’7″ with a stocky build and wearing jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt, demanded the car owner get out of the car.
The man then fled on foot with a second man who had apparently been acting as a lookout, police said. The Detective Bureau is investigating the incident.
