Thefts of iPod, Garden Statue Lead Quiet Week in Maplewood Crime

The following is from Sgt. Christopher Black of the Maplewood Police Department:

February 12, 2016; Theft; A resident of Ridgewood Rd reported that a garden statue and an iron pagoda were stolen out of his rear yard. The resident was unsure of when this occured.

February 12, 2016; Theft from Auto; A resident of Warren Rd responded to police headquarters and reported that during the overnight hours a purse and ipod were stolen from her vehicle. The vehicle had been left unsecured and parked on Warren Rd.

The Maplewood Police Department works hard to protect the residents and their property. We are asking that you assist us in this effort by making sure all vehicles and homes are properly secured at all times. Thank you
