Columbia High School’s three time Class President, and Senior School Council President for the class of 2016, Harrison Woods (right) hands over the gavel to Samori Etienne (left). Etienne will take over as Columbia High School’s 105th CHS Student Council President in the fall.
Woods said, “It has been a great honor to have been voted in by my class for the past four years and to have been able to serve them. I am proud of all that we have achieved in this time and the numerous awards that Columbia High School has received through our efforts. We have learned so much in our various roles under the guidance of our dedicated advisors Mrs. Suzanne Ryan and Mrs. Hannah Edelman.”
As the school body president, Woods opened the Graduation Ceremony for the class of 2016 on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 with a Salute to the Flag. He will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall.
