On October 24-25, Columbia High School’s Ultimate Frisbee JV team competed in Levittown, PA in Pennsbury High School’s annual Fall Brawl Tournament, taking third place. The team played six games in two days against teams from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia.
The team lost to Pennsbury (5-13) and Westfield (6-12), but won against HB Woodlawn JV (10-9), Washington Lee JV (8-7), Yorktown (13-5), and HB Woodlawn JV again (10-8).
CHS Ultimate Head Coach Chris Aguero led his team in a cheer of, “Pain is temporary. Pride is forever,” on a cool and cloudy Sunday morning, before they took the field to play CHS’s signature sport.
