It never gets old.
Seventeen times now, hundreds of students have marched out of Maplewood Middle School on a chilly January morning — some chillier than others — and silently marched through Maplewood Village bearing signs inspired by the messages or equality and peace propagated by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Maplewood Police gladly stopped traffic and ensured safe passage for the students, as local residents and shop owners looked on.
This morning’s march was perhaps more moving than ever, as students displayed their own hand-made signs with messages of hope and inclusion.
