From Open Door Nursery School:

The Parent Committee at Open Door Nursery School in Milburn recently brought their community of families together on Saturday April 2 to enjoy Sciencetellers. This program combines storytelling and science experiments into a theatrical learning experience for children.

Sciencetellers taught students and their siblings about dry ice and the changing state of matter through the tale of “Dragons & Dreams.” The story featured interactive and explosive experiments with dry ice, fog, bubbles, flying rockets and more.

This adventure swept the children away to a world where dragons are real and dreams come true.

Located at the Wyoming Presbyterian Church on Wyoming Avenue, Open Door Nursery School has been a fixture in the Millburn, Short Hills, Maplewood, and South Orange communities for more than 40 years. The school’s mission is to provide an atmosphere for young children, ages 2.5 to 5, that is responsive to the development of the whole child, and the staff is committed to the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional wellbeing of each student.
