The annual South Orange-Maplewood Softball/Baseball Parade took place Saturday, May 2, kicking off the 2015 season. The CHS Marching Band led the parade, starting at Columbia High School’s Ritzer Field and ending at Memorial Park in front of Maplewood Town Hall.
The Mark Murphy Band entertained prior to and after the parade. Maplewood Mayor Vic DeLuca, South Orange Village President Alex Torpey and other town officials attended.
The CHS A Cappella Group performed the National Anthem before the first pitches were thrown.
