A lot has happened since WNYC’s “Christie Tracker” reporter Matt Katz appeared at Words Bookstore in January to plug his new book American Governor.
Notable, Gov. Christie exited the Presidential raise after a disappointing finish in the New Hampshire primary.
And then the governor announced his endorsement of Donald Trump.
Heads all over New Jersey exploded.
As the endorsement news has caused Christie’s already tanking New Jersey approval ratings to dive to new depths and prompted calls for his resignation, Katz may be facing a very energized Q&A at Seton Hall University on Monday, March 21 as he joins the Department of Political Science & Public Affairs for a “candid conversation” about Chris Christie and the 2016 presidential race.
The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. in Jubilee 112 and is free and open to the entire SHU/South Orange community.

Katz has been covering Christie since 2011 when he penned “The Christie Chronicles” for The Philadelphia Inquirer. He now produces the “Christie Tracker”” podcast at WNYC/NJPR. Katz and his team at WNYC won a Peabody Award for covering Bridgegate. Katz has used this experience to write the definitive book on Christie, American Governor: Chris Christie’s Bridge to Redemption.
