The Hilton Neighborhood Association will sponsor a Township Committee Candidates Question & Answer evening for participating candidates on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in DeHart Community Center, 120 Burnett Avenue at 7:30 PM. There are two seats open on the Township Committee. Three candidates are running: Nancy Adams (Democrat), Greg Lembrich (Democrat), and Phyllis Scalera (Republican).

The League of Women Voters of Maplewood and South Orange is also hosting a Maplewood Township Committee candidates forum on Monday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. at The Woodland.
The League of Women Voters and the South Orange-Maplewood School District Presidents Council will co-host a candidates forum for the nine candidates running for three seats on the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education at the Maplewood Middle School Auditorium on Wednesday, October 21, from 7-9 p.m.
