UPDATE: THE INSTALLATION OF THE CROSSWALKS IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN ON NOVEMBER 2ND. THE ROAD WILL BE CLOSED FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 NIGHTS FROM 9 PM TILL 5 AM.
Work will begin in August on Springfield Avenue. The work will be done on from Wellesley Road to Jacoby Street. The initial work will be to replace handicap ramps at the intersections. After that is complete the road will be milled, paved and restriped. The milling and paving and crosswalk work will be done during the nighttime hours.
