From the Friends of South Orange Public Library:
The Friends of the South Orange Library return this year with their Artisan Holiday Fundraising Sale! A festive holiday boutique that runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 15 at the South Orange library, 65 Scotland Road.
Holiday Sale chairpersons, Harriet Katz, Tonia Moore and Anne Simms, have selected over 20 local artisans and exhibitors who will sell classic, one-of-a-kind gift and handmade items for men, women and children just in time for holiday shopping. “The event is a large fundraiser for our non-profit group. Funds raised are devoted to providing enhancements to library programming and other necessary aspects to running such a community oriented hub” said Moore, who is a holiday sale coordinator and the group’s current President.
“Jewelry, accessories, scarves, soaps, knitted items, glass ornaments, paperweights, hand-made sweets, and fair trade items are just some of the hand-crafted offerings from the vendors. We are very excited about the talented artisans who are joining our sale this year!” added Harriet Katz, the sale vendor coordinator.
