From Mara’s Cafe in South Orange:
Starting on Tuesday, October 20 from 7 to 10 pm a new weekly open mic will be held at Mara’s Cafe in South Orange. The event is hosted by The Deafening Colors and the first night will feature a kick-off performance by C.R. Gennone of Tribal Days from 7 to 7:30 pm.
The open mic is open to musicians, poets, writers, spoken word artists, and more! To sign-up for a spot in advance, just e-mail thedeafeningcolors@gmail.com.
The goal of this open mic is to bring together a diverse array of artists, musicians, writers and more. It will serve as a place where creatives and arts enthusiasts can gather weekly to share their work in a comfortable environment. All ages are welcome and encouraged to participate. All musical and literary genres also welcome.
