The Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce invites members, business friends and residents to attend its “Make a Splash Soiree” at the Hilton Short Hills on Friday, March 20, 2015. Festivities begin at 6pm with a cocktail hour featuring passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beers, wine and a Cosmopolitan specialty drink.
The evening continues from 7 – 9 pm with a distinctive menu of varied small plates and numerous food stations and passed desserts as well as a fully-stocked cash bar.
This unique and fun event will be enhanced with a Wine Pull of selected bottles of red and white wines for wine enthusiasts. In addition, jazz pianist Matt King will set the musical tone.
Adding to the evening festivities will be a guest appearance by stand-up comedian Rob Falcone, one of New York City’s favorite comedians.
As a television performer and actor, Rob has appeared in such notable shows as “Third Watch”, “Gossip Girls”, “Cashmere Mafia”, and “The Sopranos” and Off-Broadway in “Tony and Tina’s Wedding”. He also performs regularly in Las Vegas and Atlantic City casinos and at Scotty’s Comedy Cove in Springfield.
Another highlight of the event will be a silent auction with dozens of items including a selection of jewelry from Walter Bauman Jewelers and gift certificates and more from local merchants and entertainment venues.
