As part of its 4th of July festivities, Maplewood Township hosted a Pet Parade in DeHart Park. The judges were: Bill Gifford, Hilton neighborhood resident and member of the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education; Jane Collins-Colding, Democratic candidate for Township Committee and Hilton neighborhood resident; Max Kravitz, 2023 Columbia High School graduate and former candidate for the Democratic nomination for Township Committee; and William Tomlin, pet trainer at PetSmart.
