Maplewood Police are alerting residents to a suspicious person seen parked in a car on Woodland Rd. Thursday, August 18. Two Woodland Rd. residents told police they saw a white man between 40-50 years old, with gray sandy hair sitting inside of a four-door black vehicle, said Sgt. Christopher Black.
The man was seen sitting in the area for an extended period of time and then left, only to return ten minutes later and sit in the car for approximately 40 minutes, Black said. He was seen between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The Maplewood Police Department received the report several hours later and has since increased patrols in the area. Anyone who observes suspicious activity in this area or any area of town is asked to contact the Maplewood Police Department as soon as possible.
