Columbia High School is holding three sessions for incoming 9th graders on making the transition to high school. These “Tuesdays at 10” conversations are designed to be a relaxed and informal way for students to ask any questions he or she has about CHS, according to an email from Principal Elizabeth Aaron.

The sessions will take place on Tuesdays August 4, 18, and 25 at 10 a.m. in the Black Box Theater. Director of Guidance and Counseling Jennifer Giordano, will present briefly, after which current upperclassmen and women will discuss their experiences and advice.

For students who cannot attend, CHS will send an email each of those Tuesday afternoons with a summary of what was discussed so all students can hear from inside CHS about how to prepare for a great start to the school year.

The event is for students only; parents or guardians may email any questions they would like answered for their students to Ms. Hernandez at chernand@somsd.k12.nj.us.
