The Quaye Institute of the Arts (QIA) will host a Summer Arts Program in South Orange from July 20 to August 7.
This full day program will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 65b South Orange Ave, offering classes in violin, dance, voice, theater and art to students ages 5-17. The three-week program is $195 a week, which includes the cost of field trips. Meals can be provided on request and before and after care are available.
Josephine Quaye, founder of Quaye Institute of the Arts, has partnered with several Fine Arts institutions with in Essex and Union Count to bring South Orange the finest in Dance, Violin, Voice, Art and Theater training, according to a release. Participants will learn how to read music and be encouraged to explore the benefits of playing the violin, dance, art, theater and voice.
Quaye Institute will receive the Billups Financial Group LLC 2015 Business of the Year Award on April 30, 2015 in South Orange.
