While winter is still here, it’s time to register your children for spring baseball, softball and soccer!

SOUTH ORANGE-MAPLEWOOD BASEBALL

Registration for the 2016 spring season of South Orange-Maplewood Baseball is underway. SOM Baseball is operated under the banner of the national Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth organization and is open to South Orange and Maplewood residents, ages 5 to 15. League eligibility and placement is based on the child’s age as of April 30, 2016 (sorry, no exceptions).

In person registration will be taken at The Baird in South Orange AND Town Hall in Maplewood as follows:

  • Saturday and Sunday, January 30 and 31, 1:00-4:00 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday, February 6 and 7, 1:00-4:00 pm

New players MUST register in person. Any child who did not play in the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth program in 2015 must register at one of the registration sessions listed above and bring a copy of their birth certificate.

Members of the South Orange Maplewood Baseball Committee will be on hand at all registration sessions to answer any questions.

Returning players have the option of online or in person registration. Online registration is available through February 7th for all players who participated in South Orange Maplewood Baseball in spring, 2015. To register online, click HERE and find the appropriate baseball program for your child.
