St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and the PATCH (Parents and Their Children) Program hosted a week long drumming camp this week as an outreach to children in Essex County. The children, ranging in age from 6-12 years old, are instructed in African Drumming each day. They also learn arts and crafts, singing and dancing.
The Drumming Camp is in its third year and this year concludes with a performance. The children will perform what they have learned at Taylor Park in Millburn on Saturday, August 29 at 2pm. Come out and enjoy the performance and applaud the children!
