From St. Rose of Lima Academy:
St. Rose of Lima Academy, located at 52 Short Hills Avenue in Short Hills, is one of the oldest Catholic elementary schools in New Jersey, and a U.S. Department of Education, National Blue Ribbon School since 2013. The Academy will hold an open house event, Thursday, October 19 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. and Friday, October 20 from 9:15 – 10:45 a.m.
This event is open to anyone wanting additional information about the Academy. Take a tour of our school, meet with our principal and observe our teachers and students in action.
St. Rose of Lima Academy is a fully-accredited, co-educational academy, with students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. The school draws heavily from Short Hills and the surrounding communities of Millburn, Maplewood, South Orange and Springfield and Summit.
Over the past several years, St. Rose of Lima Academy has made a number of major facilities improvements, from a new science lab to a Technology Learning Center with 26 computers and 22-inch multi-touch flat screen monitors. In addition, Advanced Math and Science classes have been added which allows our students to exceed and excel above state curriculum.
