The Maplewood Democratic Committee is currently vetting Township Committee candidates to be endorsed by the Committee in the Democratic Primary Election on June 2. The winners of the Democratic Primary will be the Democratic Candidates for Township Committee in the November General Election.
The term for the seats that will be up for election are January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018. The seats are currently held by Kathleen Leventhal and Gerard “Jerry” Ryan.
Those interested should forward a letter of interest and resume to the Maplewood Democratic Committee Chair, Ian Grodman, at iangrodman@gmail.com, by February 23, 2015. Those interested will be interviewed by the Maplewood Democratic Committee the first week in March.
