The Hilton Neighborhood Association will honor Eric Burbank, retiring Director of the Department of Public Works and longtime HNA member, at its next meeting on Thursday, November 20, at the DeHart Community Center, 120 Burnett Avenue. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
Burbank will also be honored at the New Jersey League of Municipalities annual meeting in Atlantic City on November 19 as the New Jersey Public Works Employee of the Year.
Burbank announced recently that he will retiring in December after 27 years of service to the Township of Maplewood.
Also on the agenda at the HNA November meeting: Mayor Vic DeLuca will discuss “Maplewood: What’s Ahead?”
