This release comes from Steve Mershon, Lead Organizer, North Jersey Pride #DecisionDay Rally:

North Jersey Pride is organizing a statewide #DecisionDay Rally in Maplewood for the evening that the Supreme Court announces its historic decision in the marriage equality cases currently before it. The decision will most likely be released on Monday, June 29, though other earlier possibilities include Monday, June 22, and Thursday, June 25.

Plans for the rally are continually evolving, but the latest details can be found on the Decision Day facebook event page.  The rally will take place win or lose, rain or shine, and it is open to all supporters of the Freedom to Marry. The event will include music, entertainment, and local elected officials.

The good weather location for the rally will be the front steps of Maplewood Town Hall, 574 Valley St, Maplewood, NJ. The bad weather location will be inside “The Woodland” at 60 Woodland Rd, Maplewood, NJ. An After Party will be held at Coda Kitchen and Bar, 177 Maplewood Ave, Maplewood, NJ, following the Rally (cash bar).
