South Orange Police arrested three East Orange residents Thursday for allegedly trespassing at a home on Forest Road, according the the police blotter. Police arrested 18-year-old Daron Morgan and two 17-year-olds at around 11:25 a.m. after a Forest Rd. resident reported seeing the three entering her backyard and allegedly trying the back door handle of her home, police said.
Seeing the three running through neighborhood yards, officers chased them on foot and caught them several blocks away, police said. Police recovered a red backpack that the three had apparently discarded as they allegedly attempted to flee, said police.
