SOUTH MOUNTAIN SOCCER – FOR PLAYERS BORN 2003-2008

The REGISTRATION DEADLINE for the fall season of South Mountain Soccer is Friday, July 15th, or when fully enrolled, whichever comes first.
South Mountain Soccer registration is by AGE, not grade, in conformance with revised NJ Youth Soccer rules and regulations. Registration is open to players born 2003-2008.
South Mountain Soccer is a recreational soccer program which offers a wide range of opportunity to players at all levels in the fall and/or spring seasons. There are no tryouts. Teams are formed randomly and participate in the InterCounty Youth Soccer League (ICYSL) against teams from nearby communities. The ICYSL divisions include U10, U12 and U14 as follows:
U10 division includes players born in 2007 and 2008 (see U10 NOTE below)
U12 division includes players born in 2005 and 2006
U14 division includes players born in 2003 and 2004
U10 NOTE: If registration in the U10 divisions is sufficient, consideration will be given to forming in-town South Mountain Soccer league for U10 teams ONLY.
U17 NOTE: If there is sufficient interest and a committed volunteer coach, we are able to enter a team in the boys and/or girls ICYSL U17 division. Carded travel team players and Varsity level players are NOT eligible to participate in ICYSL.If interested, please email pcoleman@southorange.org with the player’s name and birth year.
The fall season is tentatively scheduled to begin in late August/early September. All teams practice with professional trainers once a week with games on the weekends.
REGISTRATION: Registration begins online and at the Baird on July 1st. The registration deadline is July 15th or when the program is fully enrolled, whichever comes first. EARLY REGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED! For more information, click HERE.
