2015 was quite a year for South Orange/Maplewood, and for The Village Green. In our first full year in business, we covered a variety of stories including great and not-so-good news about the school district, crime stories, new businesses and restaurants, profiles of locals doing amazing things — even the occasional celebrity (and presidential) sighting.
Some of our most-read pieces were about people the community lost, which we told you about here.
We were thrilled, proud and gratified by your response to what we produced. We look forward to continuing to cover everything that matters to you in 2016 — and beyond.
If you like what The Village Green does and want us to stick around for a long time, consider becoming a subscriber. For a small amount of money a year, you’ll get all the news we think is fit to print in your inbox each morning. Plus, look for more subscriber-only special offers, deals and parties! Finally, you will be showing that you believe in the value of well-reported, well-written local news.
Subscribe here. And thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for welcoming us into your lives.
