interACT Theatre Productions will be holding auditions for “9 to 5: The Musical” on Feb. 16 and Feb. 17 from 6-9 p.m, according to a press release.
Auditions are by appointment. Callbacks will be Sat., Feb. 21 at 11 a.m.
Directed by Nicholas Clarey, interACT is casting men and women ages 18 and up, and young men, ages 15-17. The performance will run May 1-3, 8-10-15-17.

All auditionees should prepare 32-40 bars each of one ballad and one up-tempo in the MT or belt style. A choreography/movement audition will also take place, so dress appropriately. Readings will be done by cold reading; no monologues will be seen for this audition.
“9 To 5 The Musical,” with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic.
