While the SOMSD Parenting Center Holiday Toy Drive officially ends on Dec. 11 at retailers and town locations near you, families have until Friday, Dec. 9 to contribute to the donation boxes at schools throughout the South Orange-Maplewood School District.

A notice from the Parenting Center states that the drive is in need of stuffed animal toys and “building toys” such as Legos.
Always in need: Gifts for the older child such as Amazon gift cards, headphones, wallets, purses, make-up, jewelry and hair accessories. Some gifts that work for all ages: arts supplies and sports equipment.
