Claremont Avenue residents took to public comments at the June 17 Township Committee meeting seeking remedies from the impacts of the ‘American Classic’ production — and from a home that is frequently rented for productions.

Construction delays in the fall and winter and inclement weather throughout the project have led to the late opening, according to the update.

The township is seeking to move forward on a playground at Maplecrest Park with components that address physical, cognitive, social, sensory, emotional and other needs.

“This stuff has to stop and there’s got to be somebody down in Washington in the House and Senate that is going to speak up,” said De Luca.
