Collage Workshop

Join Liz Demaree, life long artist and curator of this show, for a free demonstration and hands-on collage workshop.
Liz is currently working on artist books and collages. She uses paintings, gel transfer prints and photography from the past, and current materials to tell her stories. Liz will demonstrate her techniques during this free workshop.

The Intersection of Collage and Encaustic exhibit features combinations of images, made to tell stories. Collages usually are made of repurposed paper objects; encaustics use wax as a paint. The combination of the two adds a level of depth to the images. Some of the entries are solely collages; others are a combination of the two media. They all have a very personal brand of story telling.
