The South Orange artist won a NJ Council on the Arts grant for his stunning micrography — images of crystals that in reality could fit on the “underbelly of a ladybug.”

SEFD Chief Joseph Alvarez reported that there were no injuries.

Police announced that a 46-year-old Maplewood resident had been charged in the incident which happened on Sunday evening, March 2.

“We have acres and acres of parkland,” said South Orange Deputy Village Administrator Peter Travers, “and our recreation department is programming every square inch of it. We have high volume of usage. …But great assets take investment, and investing in parkland is costly.”
