Auditions for Maplewood Strollers “Fiddler on the Roof”
March 3, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The Strollers seeks a multi-ethnic, multi-creed cast to bring the tradition alive for the next generation. All roles open and available!
Auditions will consist of
>reading with other auditioners from the script
>singing 16-32 bars of a song of your choice — those interested in lead roles should sing an appropriate song from the show. (If your song is not from Fiddler, bring sheet music; accompanist provided)
>learning a short dance combination
Come prepared with a list of your conflicts March 10 – May 19.
Callbacks Tuesday March 5, 7-10 pm.
Rehearsals will begin March 10, 3-4 times per week. Not all cast members will be required at every rehearsal at first. From April 22, rehearsals will be every weekday evening and all cast required.
Performance dates:
Fri & Sat, May 3 & 4, 10 & 11, 17 & 18 at 8pm
Sun, May 5 & 12 (Mother’s Day) at 2pm
