Day Hike to Tillman Ravine and Buttermilk Falls

Our group will carpool to Stokes State Forest, famous for its impressive beauty — from its mountain ridges to its rushing streams and steep cliffs. We will hike along a picturesque creek through Tillman Ravine. Then, after a short car ride, we will climb the stairs to the top of Buttermilk Falls (NJ’s tallest!) and continue another mile on foot to take in the view at Kittatinny Ridge. Overall, we will hike approximately three miles over rough ground with a big hill or two. Afterwards, optionally enjoy an early dinner at the iconic, rustic and charming Walpack Inn (cost of dinner is not included). DR.
