“As we conclude the 100th anniversary of our sanctuary, we wanted this season to feel like an open invitation – to joy, reflection and community,” said Rev. Jessica Ebner-Dixon, Pastor of Prospect Presbyterian Church.

Set to begin in January 2026, the program is open to aspiring entrepreneurs who otherwise have limited access to capital, training or other resources and is designed to empower entrepreneurs and strengthen communities across northern New Jersey.

“The Unwitting Magician” is a work in development by Maplewood resident Jeremy Dobrish and is part of the American Theater Group and the Union County Performing Arts Center’s free Play Reading Series on Monday, December 8.

Work included partially draining the pond, reconstructing collapsed areas with a mixture of new and refurbished blocks, backfilling behind the reconstructed areas and topsoiling and seeding the surface.

The vote was contentious and included a failed effort to keep the Essex County Democratic Party from endorsing any candidate.

Students saw the LUX Orchestra — an innovative program developed in collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Link Up — that transforms the orchestral concert into an immersive, high-energy spectacle of light, sound and music.
